Keyboard Cleaning
Keyboards are notorious for getting messy over time. Between dust, dead skin cells, and the remnants of the snacks that we munch on at the desk, there is a good chance that your keyboard is full of stuff that could be impeding its use. For this reason, tweezers can be super helpful since pulling the keyboard apart to clean it isn’t always the best, or most possible, option, and no one wants to run out to the store to get a new keyboard every time theirs gets dirty. As such, using tweezers to get into the tiny spaces can have a great effect on keyboard longevity and cleanliness.
Plate Perfect
It’s no big secret that top name chefs keep a few pair of tweezers in the kitchen, but most people don’t think about doing the same thing. Sure, the normal mean doesn’t often call for an elaborate setup, but once and awhile you might be looking for the perfect plating, and to do that, you need detail. Tweezers can help precisely place foods and decorations on baked goods or just plates, making the presentation absolutely perfect, rather than just alright.
Detangler
We’ve all had that favorite necklace that manages to get tangled up into a huge, knotted mess. And we’ve all had that hour-long (or more!) period of pure frustration as we try to use our much too large fingers to try to get the delicate jewelry to untangle. It’s difficult, and for some, giving up is the much simpler and stress relieving option, sadly. If you have a pair of tweezers around though, you don’t have to worry about that at all. Instead, use the tweezers and a needle to hold the chain and pull gently to loosen the knot. Once you get it a bit loose, you can hold the chain with your hands and pull the knot out with the tweezers.
Electronics
If you’ve ever worked with smaller electronics, like when you are building your own computer or similar tasks, having small hands is really beneficial. At the same time, not everyone who wants to build electronic devices has small hands, and those of us who fall into that category know how troublesome it can be to try to get anything done in a timely manner if you’re spending a ton of time fighting with the small screws and pieces that you have to work with. Enter in the tweezers. As an extension of your hand, these little tools give you the ease and ability needed to build what you are building easily and without the frustration. Just use them as you would use your finger and thumb to pick things up and place them precisely.
Eggshell Removal
For those of us out there that love to cook, eggs can be one of the biggest points of frustration out there. The shells, being brittle and easily breakable, have a really hard time keeping it together when you want to get the egg into the bowl without it. Little bitty pieces of shell can often fall in there, and they aren’t always totally simple to get out. Thankfully, having a pair of kitchen tweezers can go a long way here. Just use them to grab the bits of shell and you’re good to go!
Having more than one pair of tweezers around your house it generally considered a good idea by the experts. Not only can you use them for the normal stuff that you’d consider using them for, but you can also do some pretty amazing stuff with them too.
