I have to say, we have been selling tick kits for years and never once have I had to use them. I have heard many stories about how effective the Slivers Grippers are for removing ticks, but never had to remove one before. Seeing the legs wiggle as I grabbed them out of my boyfriend’s neck was so disturbing! But, the tweezers got the tick out completely. Many tweezers can break off only part of the tick leaving it still embedded causing more issues and actually more venom to be released. We safely got he tick out and cleaned the bite. All I can think is thank you Grandpa!
